Hair & Beauty

Beauty preparation needs to be started early and many brides start months before their actual wedding day and its good to pamper yourself well in advance.

Tone your body and skin, keep your hair in top condition file and shape your nails and treat yourself to a facial.

If you want to change your hairstyle for the day, try it out a few times beforehand so that you feel comfortable with it.

Wedding make-up service and or a facial in your own home or at a salon needs to be booked well in advance and a rehearsal is a must.

Your nails are also very important and you don’t want them to be less than perfect when your new husband places the ring on your finger. Try a manicure, nail jewellery or nail extensions to make you hands look and feel beautiful.

Henna is becoming very popular for weddings it should be applied 1-3 days before te wedding to allo the henna stain time to mature and deepen. Traditionally the grooms initials are hidden in the patterns. The Groom must search for the initials on the wedding night if he can't find his initials h is expected to give a gift to his new bride. This game of 'hide and seek' has served as an icebreaker for generations for couples in arranged marriages.

Aromatherapy or refexology is an excellent way of relaxing and taking away the stresses and strains as the wedding preparations are proceeding, it is also found helpful by some brides to relax on the big day.
