Transport

There is a wide range of transport available to choose from for weddings, but always remember to choose a full-time chauffeuring company where you can be sure of obtaining the service you will expect for your special day.

When choosing a wedding car or form of transport you need to look at the following factors:

1. Will the colour of the car complement the bridal dress and bridesmaids outfits – you need a neutral background for any good photographs and to ensure the detail of the dress stands out. White cars are always difficult as a background for a white or ivory dress.

2. Space in the rear compartment of the car is important to ensure the dresses arrive at Church without creasing, many vintage cars are very small and this may be a problem to hold a wedding dress. When you sit in the back remember a large dress takes up quite a bit of space.

3. The interior of the car is light to help with good light photographs of the inside of the car without the need for white sheets to cover up a scruffy interior.

4. Does the Chauffeuring Company offer colour-coordinated ribbons to individually decorate the car for your wedding? Are they satin or florists ribbon that drops in the rain.

5. Can you have champagne served outside the church?

6. Does the chauffeuring company set the time or you yourself? Do they do a ‘dummy run’ to ensure they know any obstacles and the best route?

7. Do the chauffeurs wear full uniform?

Rolls Royce have always been seen as the ultimate wedding car whether modern or vintage, but there is a wide range to choose from including a horse and carriage, but if you should decide upon this remember you will probably still need a car for the bridesmaids.

Many different forms of transport are coming into vogue including balloons, fire engines, america limousines etc depending upon the theme for your wedding.
