Wedding Rings
Wedding rings are usually made in platinum, white gold (9 or 18 carat) or yellow gold (9, 18 or 22 carat). The lower the carat number, the less pure gold there is making the ring harder and less lustrous, but costing less.
It is a good idea to look at wedding rings while you are buying the engagement ring, as they will be worn together and should compliment each other. That does not mean you have to buy them at the same time, but you may be able to form some idea of what you want the wedding ring to be like when you purchase the engagement ring.
